Sancti Spiritus will have popular festivals from July 23 to 27

After a prolonged hiatus during the historic days of the city’s largest popular celebration, this year cultural and recreational offerings will be enjoyed.

“Based on the summer plan, this year, 2025, the popular festivals are planned for July 23-27.” According to Yoslaine Lago Francisco, deputy mayor of the Sancti Spíritus Municipal Council, the proposals respond to the current circumstances.

“We’re going to be concentrating in several areas, for example, in Patanal de Bartolo, in Colón, where the people of Sancti Spiritus traditionally call this area, Sobral. We have the plaza in Parque Jesús, and in Colón, in front of the Bar La Espirituana. We’ve created the areas where the priority circuits are located, because that’s where we truly have the best conditions to hold these popular festivals.

Depending on the conditions the country approves, we’ll be looking at other areas that can be expanded.

Another space that will be open to the celebration is the Delio Luna fairgrounds, where it will be a conducive place for friends and families to gather throughout the summer.

Especially on the 23rd and 24th, with various activities such as traditional games, where the National Institute of Statistics (INDER) will be present, and in each planned area, there will be a cultural activity.

We also have a children’s area, a youth area, which is the cultural plaza area, which will also be enhanced with the “Joya Disco,” and national orchestras will be performing. Be there.

In the case of cultural offerings, artistic units from the amateur and professional movement, as well as special guests, will be featured.
