The University of Sancti Spiritus welcomed professors and students from the United States

The José Martí Pérez University of Sancti Spíritus welcomed the Delegation of Students and Professors from Universities in the United States, who, for two days, carried out a broad program of activities in this territory, with the aim of highlighting the contribution of women to the culture of Sancti Spíritus.
“We are dedicated to creating bonds of understanding between Cuban and North American universities. We began in 2014, and despite all the complications that have arisen since then, we have been able to maintain this type of exchange, the impact of which, in my opinion, has been significant,” said Dayron Enrique Moreno, president and founder of La Cívica at the State University of New York.
“We’re here as part of a program offered by the State University of New York. We spent three weeks with the University of Cienfuegos working on a course on the Cold War and its impact on Cuba. We’re now working on a second program, dedicated to contemporary Cuban culture, which begins here in Sancti Spíritus.”
