New Solar Park to expand the use of Renewable Energy in Sancti Spíritus

With the creation of a new photovoltaic solar park, to be built this year in Cabaiguán, the province of Sancti Spíritus will expand its energy generation capacity by means of renewable energy sources.

Julio Hernández Puebla, director of Investments of the Empresa Eléctrica Espíritus, said that the work is part of a national program that includes 46 facilities of this type and specified that the one to be set up in areas near the Arroyo Lajas camping base is the first of those planned for this territory in the center of the country.
