Cuba reports 22 new cases of COVID-19 over past 24 hours


The Cuban Ministry of Public Health has reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 at the close of this Sunday, for a total of 6,000 diagnosed since March.

The ministry’s web page shows that 3,848 patients are admitted in hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 803 of them are suspected of having coronavirus and 2,744 are under surveillance.

Over the past 24 hours — up to 12 midnight Sunday night — fortunately no patients died from the coronavirus.  A total of 123 patients have died from COVID-19 in Cuba since the beginning of the pandemic in March.
